Little Moru Camp

Tucked away behind Nyaroboru Hill with a stunning vista across the Musabi Plains, Little Moru Camp offers an authentic safari experience with only six tents, including family and triple share options. This intimate mobile camp evokes the charm of traditional safari camps with hot bucket showers, campfire stories, and the infinite African night sky. Surrounded by the acacia forest, guests can listen to the calls of the night while being enveloped in nature. In front of the camp, a small plain leads to a tributary of the Musabi River, connecting the western and southern Serengeti. This fertile area with a permanent water source attracts a vast array of resident wildlife, including the endangered Black Rhino, which is heavily guarded by ranger patrols. The lush grasses also draw the great migration herds as they pass through the Serengeti ecosystem.

Each tent measures 12m by 4m and is constructed from heavy-duty safari rip-stop canvas made locally in Morogoro, Tanzania, with additional shade-clothing for cooling. Guests are greeted by a patio area with chairs and a table for relaxation. The tents feature front zips that open fully, with layers of mosquito netting and canvas for protection and ventilation. Inside, the tents are furnished with unique furniture, including a desk, resting chair, tea station, carpeting, umbrella, and laundry bag. The decor reflects the colors of the Serengeti sunsets. Each bed is fully netted for mosquito protection and fitted with cotton sheets, double pillows, duvets, and bed runners. The tents have netted windows on each side, providing ventilation while keeping insects out. The bathroom area, accessible from the bedroom through a separate doorway, includes a double ceramic wash basin with running water, natural bathroom products, and suitable linen. The area also features a woven grass mat, safe, and clothes rack. The toilet area has a ceramic flushing toilet set on a wooden platform, and the shower area includes a 40-liter PVC bucket on a pulley system. Each tent is equipped with an extensive solar lighting system for convenience.
