Day 1
Welcome to Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro and transfer to your accommodation at Rivertrees Country Inn for an overnight stay. Settle in and prepare for your photographic adventure.

Day 2
Touring the Tarangire
After breakfast, transfer to Tarangire National Park. Enter the park for game driving and exploration. Known for its baobab trees, wilderness, and massive elephant herds, Tarangire offers wonderful photographic opportunities throughout the year. Retire to Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge, where you can capture the essence of the park’s unique landscapes and wildlife.

Day 3
Shooting in the Silalei
Spend another day in Tarangire, exploring the bushveld and Silalei swamp, where elephants graze on succulent grasses. Patience is the key here to capturing incredible images. Return to camp for a shower and then enjoy private sundowners and dinner under the stars.

Day 4
Into the Ngorongoro Crater
Take an early morning transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the crater floor, a collapsed volcano and World Heritage site, for a game drive through its diverse ecosystems. Capture stunning scenes of wildlife and landscapes before returning to your the Crater’s Edge lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 5
To the Plains of Ndutu
Transfer through the Maasai homelands of Endulen and descend into the southern plains of Ndutu. The best time for the wildebeest migration in this area is December to March, when the plains are dotted with migration herds preparing for calving season. Enjoy dinner and a campfire under the stars at the Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp, listening to stories of the local tribes.

Day 6
Discovering the Serengeti
Spend the day game driving in the Serengeti, exploring acacia forests, open plains, soda lakes, and marsh areas. Our camp along a freshwater stream offers a consistent flow of breathtaking wildlife to photograph. Capture the incredible diversity of the Serengeti’s resident and migratory wildlife.

Day 7
Game Drives in Ndutu
Take an all day game drive in Ndutu, where responsible off-roading allows for intimate photography opportunities. Capture images of big cats, migration herds, and nocturnal wildlife, all while maintaining respectful distance. Listen to the sounds of the African night as you review your day’s photos.

Day 8
Exploring Ndutu
During the migration season, Ndutu is home to an incredible array of migratory birds. Photograph their attractive plumage and mating behaviors in the acacia woodlands. The area is also known for cheetah brotherhoods and male lion coalitions, offering spectacular photo opportunities of their interactions and behaviors.

Day 9
A Fond Farewell
Early morning game drive to the airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro. Depart Ndutu mid-morning and arrive at Kilimanjaro. Transit to your departing flight, with an option for a day room near the airport if required. Consider extending your adventure with a relaxing Zanzibar extension.
