Day 1
Welcome to Kilimanjaro
Arrive at Kilimanjaro and transfer to your accommodation at Rivertrees Country Inn for an overnight stay. Settle in and prepare for your photographic adventure.

Day 2
A Trek into Tarangire
After breakfast, transfer to Tarangire National Park. Enter the park for game driving and exploration. Known for its baobab trees, wilderness, and massive elephant herds, Tarangire offers excellent photographic opportunities throughout the year. Capture the unique landscapes and wildlife with our expert guides, then retire to a night under the stars at Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge.

Day 3
Exploring Tarangire
Spend another day in Tarangire, exploring the bushveld and Silalei swamp, where elephants graze on succulent grasses. Patience is the key here to capturing incredible images. Return to camp for a shower and then enjoy a private sundowner and dinner under the stars.

Day 4
Into the Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the crater floor, a collapsed volcano and World Heritage site, for a game drive through its diverse ecosystems. Capture stunning scenes of wildlife and landscapes before returning to your lodge at the Crater’s Edge for an overnight stay.

Day 5
Into North Tanzania
Transfer through the heart of the Serengeti, heading to the far northern areas bordering the Masai Mara, Kenya. The best time for the wildebeest migration in this area is July to October, when herds cross the Mara River. Capture the dramatic crossings as the herds navigate crocodile-infested waters. Enjoy dinner and a campfire under the stars, listening to stories of local tribes.

Exploring the Serengeti
Spend the day game driving in the northern Serengeti, known for its rolling hills, rocky outcrops, and creviced waterways. Look out for the endangered Black Rhino and capture stunning sunsets after a day of photography. Our camp’s location provides optimal lighting conditions for beautiful evening shots.

Take an all day game drive in the northern Serengeti. This expansive area offers diverse habitats to explore. Day 8
Exploring the Sand River
Explore the Sand River area, which defines the border between Kenya and Tanzania. The riverbed, lined with lush forest, offers prolific wildlife sightings, from vervet monkeys to giraffes, servals, black rhinos, and leopards. Capture layered images with subjects framed by their unique habitats.

Day Nine
A Fond Farewell to Tanzania
Awaken for an early morning game drive to the airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro. Depart Kogatende mid-morning and arrive at Kilimanjaro. Transit to your departing flight, with an option for a day room near the airport if required. Consider extending your adventure with a relaxing Zanzibar extension.
