Upon arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your accommodation for the night. Relax and unwind at Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel, where a delightful dinner awaits.

After an early breakfast, head to Dar Es Salaam domestic airport for your charter flight to Ruaha National Park, where you will experience the thrill of game viewing in one of Tanzania’s largest and most diverse reserves. Settle into Ruaha River Lodge as you immerse yourself in the natural wonders of the park.

Set out on an exhilarating adventure as you embark on open-vehicle game drives through the rugged terrain of Ruaha National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, traverse the vast landscapes, keeping an eye out for the park’s diverse wildlife. Marvel at the sight of majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, elusive big cats, and a plethora of bird species. Pause for a hot lunch back at the lodge before your afternoon safari. Continue your exploration, following the trails of the park’s inhabitants as they roam freely in their natural habitat. Capture stunning photographs of the African wilderness bathed in the golden light of the setting sun before returning to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner under the starlit sky.

Transfer to the nearest airstrip for your scenic flight to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the untamed surroundings of Rufiji River Camp, perched high on the banks of the Great Rufiji River. Enjoy a delicious lunch amidst the sounds of nature before embarking on your first exploration of the park. Delve into the park’s diverse ecosystems, from riverine forests to expansive savannahs, as you encounter a myriad of wildlife, from lumbering elephants to graceful antelopes. Return to the camp as the sun dips below the horizon, signaling the end of another thrilling day in the African bush. Relax over dinner, recounting the day’s adventures and relishing in the tranquility of your surroundings.

Explore the diverse habitats of Nyerere National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and spectacular landscapes. Witness the incredible wildlife, from elephants and wild dogs to hippos and crocodiles, as you partake in guided walks and boat safaris.
