Hi everyone, ok, its the same trip so the blurb is the same, hoorah!
This is where it all begins! A wonderful safari into Tarangire National Park to photograph the stunning landscapes and magnificeint elephants and then head to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater to spend a spectacular day exploring the incredible wildlife inside the Crater. Then we mnove to the safai Icon, teh Serengeti National Park. You ahve all seen it somehwere, the incredible and endless flat plains, broken by the occasional granite kopje or acacia tree. It is spectacular and always, always exciting and creative! A perfect place to learn more about your cameras and how you take pictures at the same time as having a wonderful time in some very special accommodation.
Also, remember, that as photographers, and as I’m one, we only have 3 pax per car, so you always get left and right views and lots of space!
Paul Joynson Hicks is a professional commission art and commercial photographer based in Dar es Salaam on Tanzania’s east coast. At the very heart and soul of his photography is an exuberant passion for Africa, where he has lived and worked for 14 years. His love of the continent and the sheer vibrancy of African life are reflected in Paul’s three published coffee table books, which celebrate in photographs, the drama of Tanzania, Uganda and the South Luangwa Valley in Zambia.
I recently finished 6 years of full-time guiding for the world-renowned Singita Game Reserves gaining crucial skills not only within the field but also as a courteous host.
Through his commercial photography business Blue Mango Ltd, Paul has worked in many African countries, producing strong evocative images for brochures, advertising, billboards, newspapers, magazines, calendars, postcards and websites.
Clients include the whole remit of commercial business including heavy industry, manufacturing, telecommunications, and safari companies, and Paul also works closely with a number of international advertising agencies. Contact Paul for a full client list.
In addition to his photography, Paul Joynson Hicks has also set up a number of very successful charitable and commercial organisations, created to help make happier and more financially stable lives for some of the poorest people in the world.
In Uganda, Paul worked with street children and set up the Tigers Football Club (www.retrak.org). In Tanzania he created the Goat Races (www.goatraces.com), which has become an annual fixture and raised more than $150,000 over the past 6 years. In 2004 he established Wonder Workshop (www.wonderwelders.org), which enables handicapped men and women to produce highly commercial creative metal artwork, wooden toys, recycled paper products, and handmade soap, which are now taking commissions from around the world.
